Thermal Recycling - finalist in ‘Engineering Innovator of the Year’ Innovation Award category

Thermal Recycling is a finalist in the category ‘Engineering Innovator of the Year’ in this year’s Innovation Awards organised by the Technology Supply Chain, a community interest company supporting manufacturing, engineering, and technology companies in the West Midlands.

The ‘Engineering Innovator of the Year’ category recognises the engineering company that has shown the most innovation.

September, Wolverhampton-based Thermal Recycling opened its innovative demonstration plant to provide a socially and environmentally responsible alternative to asbestos disposal. The company diverts asbestos away from landfill, converts it into a new material that does not contain asbestos, and produces a sustainable aggregate that is particularly useful for road building.

The Innovation Award results will be announced on 1st July 2021.
